Brackets set for 2A state tournaments
Brackets for the Class 2A state basketball tournaments were released Sunday by the Oklahoma Secondary School activities association.
Three LeFlore County teams advanced to the state tournament. The Howe and Pocola girls along with Pocola’s boys will be playing in the state fairgrounds in quarterfinal action Wednesday.
Semifinals are Friday with the finals Saturday.
Howe’s girls drew Tulsa KIPP 12:30 p.m. while Pocola’s girls drew Merritt for the Lady Indians’ opener at 10:30 a.m.
Pocola’s boys open with Hobart at 4:30 p.m.
