Howe Board accepts resignation

The Howe School Board approved the resignation of one staff member and went through the typical monthly reports during Monday’s meeting.

Present were President Elvis Hall, along with members Jerrod Johnson and Dewayne Leatherwood.

The Board approved the resignation of Brett Casey along with encumbrances and the scholarship fund activity fund.

Superintendent Scott Parks said he was also working on a grant from Kenneth Corn with the USDA.

The school principals gave a report on programs and scheduled events or activities.

The Board approved requested fundraisers along with OSSBA policy updates, the procurement plan and school wellness policies, the board meeting schedule for 2024 and the 20024-2025 school year calendar as an hourly calendar.
