HOWE—The Howe Board of Trustees appointed Elizabeth Smith as the new city clerk for the town of Howe during Thursday’s regularly scheduled board meeting.
She was elected by a 5-0 vote. The trustees also approved giving her an 80 cent wage increase from $13.20 per to $14 per hour after a 90-day probation period.
