Celebrate America will take place in the Poteau City Hall parking lot and the adjacent street with a D.J. playing music, various vendors, and four water slides (two for the younger children and two for older children).

Hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will be for sale.

The Historical Society will be selling glow necklaces and glowsticks. Other booths range from local organizations and church groups with free games for the kids to individuals with jewelry for sale.

There is still some space for non-food vendors only (free of charge) – Business or non-profit organizations who wish to set up a booth (to sell items and/or do such things as face painting, arts and crafts, games, and other things for kids) can do so without having to pay a vendor fee. Contact David Deaton at 918-647-8298 or 918-647-9330 for more information or to volunteer.

The finale of the evening will be the firework show at about dusk. Everybody is encouraged to bring r lawn chairs.
