Funeral service for James David “Bud” Cusick of Spiro is 2 p.m. Thursday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Bud was born July 28, 1948 in Spiro to Lillian Lois (Woods) and Orvil Eugene Cusick and passed away Oct. 22, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Bud enjoyed golfing, fishing, roller skating, and loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his daughters Jami Kimble and husband Scot, Lisa Jones and husband Justin; four grandchildren Jacob Dixon, Jordan Dixon, Justin Dixon and Josi Jones; eight great grandchildren Jacob, Gentry, Emmitt, Christine, Silas, Phyl, Carrie and Tiffany; sister Sharon Bennight and husband Orville; brothers Sam Gillion and wife Vanna, and Roy Cusick and Stanley Cusick; numerous nieces nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orvil and Lillian Cusick; granddaughter, Lillian Marie Kimble; and brothers Merl Gillion and Jerry Gillion, and Gerald Cusick.
Viewing and visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. before the funeral service.
