Memorial graveside service for William “Dink” Pendergrass, 81, of Cameron is 2 p.m. Friday at Knothole Cemetery in Cameron with Reverend Shawn Caldwell officiating.
Dink was born Nov. 26, 1941 in Knothole to Lois A. (Colley) Pendergrass and William L. Pendergrass and passed away Sept. 17, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He loved camping, fishing, driving back roads and “junking.”
Survivors include his son, Elden Pendergrass, of the home; daughters Becky Bennett and Rhonda Bolin; grandchildren Dalton Pendergrass, Coy Bennett and Dakota Bennett; sister Jurl Reynolds of Fort Smith, Arkansas; significant other, Dorothy Kelley, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Dink was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Huckabe; parents William and Lois A. Pendergrass; sisters Reba “Chubby” Johnson, Lou Barnett and Edna Bailey; and a brother, William “Buck” Pendergrass.
Viewing is Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau.
