As we approach Nov. 11, a day that holds profound significance for our nation, it is fitting to reflect on the rich history and enduring legacy of Veterans Day. Originally designated as Armistice Day in 1919 to honor the fallen heroes of World War I, this day of remembrance evolved into Veterans Day following the conclusion of World War II. Now, for over a century, our country has devoted this day to expressing gratitude and paying tribute to the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces.
