It will be a matchup of titans for top-ranked Poteau when it plays third-ranked Blanchard in a Class 4A state football game 7 p.m. Friday at Catoosa.
The winner advances to play the winner of the Wagoner and Ada game, also Friday, which will be played at Southern Nazarene University, for the state championship at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.
Tonight’s game will be live streamed on https://www.facebook.com/LefloreCountyJournal/. There is no charge. Sponsors are Central National Bank, First National Bank and Circle B Wireless.
The Pirates are 12-0 while Blanchard is 11-1, losing only its second game of the year to Piedmont, 21-7.
