Commissioners approve report

The LeFlore County commissioners approved a CDBG Project Completion Final Inspection Report regarding asphalting and resurfacing of AES Road by McKenzie Asphalt among other items during Monday’s regular business meeting.

  1. Chairman Jamie Oliver called meeting to order.
  2. Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve the minutes of regular meeting held Oct. 30, 2023. Motion was approved all voting yes.
  3. Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Cody Covey to approve claims/purchase orders as presented. Motion was approved all voting yes.
  4. Bonds: None presented.
  5. Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve Monthly Fee Reports as presented and are on file in the office of the County Clerk. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
  6. Transfers of appropriations: None presented.
  7. Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Cody Covey to approve blanket purchase orders as presented. See attached county expenses for a detailed list. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
  8. Motion was made by Vallard Campbell and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve CDBG Project Completion Final Inspection Report regarding asphalting and resurfacing of AES Road by McKenzie Asphalt. Motion was approved, all voting yes. After motion was made, discussion took place regarding odor emanating from County Sheriffs evidence storage.  Discussion only.
  9. Contract Labor/ Service Agreements, Annual Contracts: No discussion.
  10. Burn ban: No discussion.
  11. Motion was made by Vallard Campbell and seconded by Cody Covey to approve ODOT 324 A Claim in the amount of $1,850.00 as submitted by Pinnacle Consulting Management Group regarding J/P 29974(04) Parcel 4. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
  12. Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Cody Covey to approve Treasurers Monthly Report of Officers for the month of October, 2023. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
  13. Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve resolution determining Maximum Monthly Highway Expenditures for the month of November, 2023. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
