Funeral service for Edward J. Abernathy, 92, of Poteau is 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He passed away Sept. 19, 2023 and was born in Milton to Dolar Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Tolbert) Abernathy.
