Funeral service for Norman Kilpatrick set
Funeral service for Norman Kilpatrick, 91, of Van Buren, Arkansas is 10 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God in Arkoma with Reverend Tim Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Slaytonville Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was born Nov. 21, 1931 in Cameron to Eva (Branstetter) Bray and Adley Otis Kilpatrick and passed away March 22, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He served in the military during the Koren conflict.
Survivors include his children Odus Kilpatrick, Lana Riggins and husband Dennis, and Douglas Kilpatrick and wife Dana; eight grandchildren Mandy Kilpatrick, Monica Borchert, Gene Riggins, Alan Riggins, Lindsey Dawson, D.J. Kilpatrick, McKenzie Black and Kevin Black; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Clifton Bray; wife Bernice Kilpatrick; and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Gene Riggins, Alan Riggins, D.J. Kilpatrick, Ed Richison, Joyce Holleman and Jim Moore.
