Funeral service for William Dale Smith set

Funeral service for William Dale Smith, 85, of Spiro set for 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with Reverend Gene Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
He was born Feb. 11, 1938 in Spiro to Rhoda Bell (French) Smith and William Jefferson Smith and passed away June 28, 2023 in Spiro.

Surviving family members are his wife, Wanda Smith; daughter Tawnya Jackson and husband Mark; grandchildren David Daugherty and wife Leslie, Andrea Shoup and husband Justin, Leann Jones and husband Brandon, and Misty Mead and husband Robert; great grandchildren Canon Shoup, Oakley Shoup, Ella Shoup, Braxton Biernacki; Raycee Biernacki, Josephine Daugherty, Henry Daugherty, Christian Scott, Shay Scott, Addison Mead, Kiley Phillips, Kya Lynn Smith, JJ Smith, Stayley Jones, Saylor Jones and Hadilee Jones; and sisters Deloris Masterson and Brenda Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Smith; son, Larry Smith; grandson, Jeremy Smith; brothers Bill Smith, James Smith and Dallas Smith; sisters Donna McClain, Jessie Dieter, and Mary Lou Jordan; and mother and father in law, James and Bessie Hall.

Pallbearers are Justin Shoup, Brandon Jones, David Daugherty, Braxton Biernacki, Canon Shoup and Oakley Shoup. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Mead, Gary Masterson and Claude Bryant. and publish obituaries with photographs and complete story for $25 and death notices, with the basic information, as a free service. All obituaries and death notices must come from a funeral home.
