Howe splits with Keys

PARK HILL—The Howe girls’ Coach Chris Brown won his 600th game as Howe split a pair of games at Keys in conference action Saturday night.

The Lady Lions improved to 15-3 with the win while Howe’s boys are 8-10. Howe visits Quinton Tuesday. Keys’ boys are 13-4 and the girls are 9-8.1

Boys

After the two teams were tied at the end of the first quarter, the Cougars outscored the Lions 34-18 over the next two periods to take control of the contest.

Wesley Toney led Howe with 15 points on five 3’s and Reece Harrison added 12

Howe actually trailed 23-17 at halftime before outscoring Keys 29-17 in the second half to get the win.

Karsyn Nye led Howe with 13 points, Kadyence Delt and Jazz Harrison each scored 11.
