Bette Jo Loucks, 92, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 2, 2022 at Culpepper place in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
She was born Nov. 10, 1929 to the late Sylvester and Josephine Loucks. Bette Jo retired from data processing with Shelby County after 25 years. She loved being outdoors. Bette Jo was an avid artist and enjoyed painting. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving family members are three children Sharon Pennington (Larry), Joana Wages (Mark), and Michael Kirkpatrick (Alice); eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and Buck Oliver; her husband, Joseph Ciontea, and the father of her three children, Marvin Kirkpatrick.
A funeral service was held Oct. 8 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Garden in Bartlett, Tennessee.
