Graveside services for Shirley Holter, 78, of Bokoshe is 2 p.m. Thursday at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Bokoshe with Brother Vernon Stone officiating, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Dates

Shirley Ann Holter was born April 5, 1945 in Bokoshe to Betty Jean (McCollum) and John Francis Didway and passed away Dec. 25, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Survivors

Shirley is survived by her son Mike Summers and wife Carla of Bokoshe; daughters Dana Summers of Bokoshe, and Misty Burnett and husband Wayne of Bokoshe; sister Marilyn Ashley and husband Winfred; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and “lots and lots of friends”.

Preceded by

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Holter; son, Kenneth Summers Sr.; sisters Norma Shores and Sue Bryant; and brother, Don Didway.

Pallbearers

Pallbearers are John Boy Horn, Bubba Summers, Wayne Burnett, John Ashley, John Didway, Steve Didway, Winfred Ashley, Toby Teach and Kenneth Sears.
