Obituary for William Earl Marler
WIlliam Earl Marler was born Jan. 27, 1939 in Poteau to Mary Etta (Martin) and William Archie Marler and passed away Jan. 26, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Carolyn Marler; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Marler; daughters Lore Sears and husband Andrew, Brenda Marler, Dena Brickey, and Buffy Kephart and husband Greg; sons David Marler and wife Georgia and Patrick Garner and wife Heather; sister, Nancy Marler; brother, Charles “Butch” Marler; and numerous grand and great grandchildren.
The family will hold private family services at a later date. Cremation services are under the care of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
