Pocola clinched the final playoff spot for LeFlore County football teams with a 76-20 win at Talihina Friday night to highlight Week 10 games in LeFlore County.
If Talihina had won, Pocola would have been eliminated and the Golden Tigers would have finished fourth in District A-8 behind Central, Gore and Panama. Pocola is 7-3 and 5-2 and visits Colcord (9-1) next week in the opening round of the playoffs. Talihina finishes 5-5 and 3-4 with an extremely young team after not fielding a team last year.
In other games Friday, Heavener trounced Antlers, 26-6; Poteau poured it on Stilwell, 61-20; Spiro held off a winless Wilburton team, 21-14; Panama pounded Haskell, 37-6; and Arkoma closed out the season with a 50-0 loss to Welch.
