Pocola, Whitesboro win big in LCT
As expected, the top two seeds for the 2023 slow pitch softball advanced to the winners bracket finals with wins during Monday’s first day.
Pocola, the top seed and defending champion, crushed Wister, 13-1, at Spiro. Whitesboro, the second seed, creamed Howe, 16-2, at Panama.
The win sets up a showdown 8:30 p.m. between Pocola and Whitesboro with the winner advancing to the championship game Thursday.
