Sager joins Baptist Health Women’s Clinic

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Samantha Sager, APRN, has joined Baptist Health Women’s Clinic-Fort Smith.

Sager is a Poteau native who most recently worked as a bedside registered nurse in the labor and delivery Unit at Baptist Health-Fort Smith for the last seven years. Sager earned a master of science in nursing degree from the University of Phoenix.

Both women’s health and continuing her education have been a long-time passion of Sager’s.

In this new role, Sager will provide care in the clinic for women seeking help with family planning, contraceptive counseling, gynecological conditions and prenatal and postpartum care.

“As a nurse practitioner in women’s health, my goal is to care for patients in a way that meets their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, as well as their expectations,” said Sager. “I want to encourage women to take an active role in their health care decision-making and I will always be an empathetic and compassionate partner in the process.”

In her free time, Sager and her son enjoy spending time with their German Shepherd and family. She is an active sports mom and church-goer.

Baptist Health Women’s Clinic-Fort Smith is located at 1500 Dodson Ave., Suite 230. For more information on women’s health services, visit Baptist-Health.com or call Baptist Health HealthLine at 1-888-BAPTIST.
