Service set for Tommy Brown
Funeral service for Tommy Dewitt Brown, 92, of Norman is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola with Rev. John Holderfield officiating.
Burial will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
He died March 8, 2024 and was born May 8, 1931 in Arcadia, Florida to Cora Taylor Brown Gaskins and Carl Frederic Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving family members are three children Teresa Lynn Brown of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dr. Thomas Michael Brown of Dewitt, Michigan and Tammy (Darin) Rainbolt; and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Beth (Betsy); and siblings Lenora Brown Tsacrios and Frederic Brown.
Visitation is Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
