Two Arkansas women were involved in a two-car accident at approximately 12:20 p.m. in Rock Island.
Kaylee Corgill, 18, of Greenwood, was driving a 2019 Nissan Altima when the 2009 Nissan Rogue, driven by Mary Herndon, 65, of Hackett, Arkansas slowed to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by the car driven by Corgill.
Corgill was not injured. Herndon was transported by LeFlore County EMS to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, where she was admitted in stable condition with internal injuries.
