Whitesboro claims state championship
Whitesboro won its first state championship in any sport Tuesday by capturing the Class B slow pitch softball state championship.
The Lady Bulldogs finish 32-9.
Whitesboro opened with a 24-6 win over Buffalo Valley, defeated Arnett, 7-5, in the semifinals before crushing Leedey in the finals, 15-5.
