SPIRO – Luther Jay Clayton was born Feb 4, 1945 in Fort Coffee, to Velmond and Leberdie Clayton and passed away May 13, 2022 in Fort Coffee.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, a daughter, Patience L. Clayton, of Spiro; a son Jeremy J. Clayton and wife Nikki of Conway, Arkansas; one sister, Emma R. Lee Huday of Fort Coffee; grandchildren Chris Earl Jones and Ashton of Hartford, Arkansas, Jasmine T. Jones of Murry Spur and Kiona C. Jones of Spiro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Bobbi R. Clayton and Ruby J. Dugan and her husband Jimmy T.
Viewing and visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
