Graveside service for Ronald L. Burgess, 86 of Poteau is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau with Jim Cook officiating. Services are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was born Jan. 11, 1937 in Poteau to Vivian (Maple) Burgess and Oren L. Burgess and passed away Feb. 13, 2023 in Poteau.
Survivors include his children Rhonda Levy and husband, Lee, Ronnie Burgess and wife Kammy, and Darren Burgess and wife Shannon; grandchildren Jeremy Burgess, Ashley McAlister, Jonathon Burgess, Seth Burgess and Jordan Shrock; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Gerry Thornton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lula Belle Burgess; brother, James Oren Burgess; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Burgess.
Pallbearers are Seth Burgess, Will McAlister, Clayton Shrock, Jeremy Burgess and Jonathon Burgess.
