ARKOMA—Heavener’s boys and girls completed an easy run through the Battle on the Border Festival Friday as both teams won easily over the hosts.
The Lady Wolves improved to 4-2 with a 56-24 win in the opener to go 3-0 in the Festival, while the Wolves are now 5-1 after defeating the Mustangs, 59-21 to also go 3-0 in the Festival and 4-0 on the week after also beating Stigler Tuesday.
Both Heavener teams are in action again Tuesday at the Freedom Ford Festival at Savanna. The Wolves play Savanna at 5:20 p.m. while the Lady Wolves take on Kinta at 6:40 p.m.
