MANSFIELD—In a battle of undefeated teams, The Mansfield girls handed Howe its first loss of the season Friday in the championship game of the Bill Frye Invitational Tournament.
The Lady Lions fell, 48-31 to drop to 10-1 on the season. Mansfield improves to 13-0 and defended its championship from a year ago
In the earlier third-place game, Howe defeated Mansfield, 54-47.
Howe is back in action Friday when it hosts Westville.
