They will also hold a second service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia with Pastor Pat Chastain officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau.

Ricky was born Feb. 16, 1954 in Warner Robins, Georgia to Eunice Ruth Millsap (Burdeshaw) and Jerry Oliver Dearmore and passed away March 18, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Ricky was a faithful servant to the Lord. He was a member of Octavia Baptist Church in Smithville. He enjoyed participating in church and Choctaw Community Center activities. He had a deep love for God’s creations and would often retreat to the woods to find treasures and become one with nature. He passed this passion down to his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing with his son in Oklahoma’s beautiful waters and growing plants and vegetables. Ricky never met a stranger. He openly shared his struggles as a testimony and was there for anyone that needed help. He unconditionally loved his family and friends with all his heart and the impact he left has made the world a better place to be.

Survivors include a son, Brian Dearmore; daughters Tracey  Bradley and husband Tony, and Cristie Gillen and husband Chris; sisters Tammy Hooper and husband Donnie, and Sonda Dearmore; grandchildren Austin Bradley, Brianna Bradley, Courtney Thompson and husband Levi, Shelby Taylor and husband Josh, and Alana Dearmore; great grandchildren Karter Taylor, Hazel Thompson and Dani Thompson; and the love of his life, Teresa Dearmore.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Dearmore and Eunice Millsap; and a brother, Victor Dearmore.
