Obituary for Glenn Carr
Glenn Clifford Carr of Howe was born Jan. 4, 1942 in Cameron to Charles and Lidia (Slater) Carr and passed away March 12, 2024 in Howe at the age of 82.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Glenn was a longtime resident of the area and worked in construction. He was a veteran, where he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by one son: Jim Carr and wife Jody of Heavener; two brothers-in-law Jess Gatlin of Howe, and Houston Gatlin of Howe; one nephew, Greet Gatlin, of Howe; one granddaughter; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth Carr; one granddaughter; four sisters; and one brother.
