POTEAU – Poteau swept both games in the fast pitch softball regional tournament Thursday to advance to next week’s Class 4A state tournament
Poteau improves to 32-7. Stigler ends its season with a 25-9 mark.
The two district foes split their two games during the regular season, but in Thursday’s games it was all Poteau.
After the easy 16-5 win in the opener, the Lady Pirates finished Thursday’s sweep with a 5-3 victory in extra innings.
