Two Whitesboro teens were injured in a one-car auto accident at approximately 12:32 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 63 just west of Whitesboro.
The 16-year-old driver of the 2019 Kia Forte failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, departed the road to the right and struck a tree. She was transported to Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, then to Children’s Hospital in Little Rock with a lower back injury.
Her passenger, another 16-year-old from Whitesboro, was treated and released at Baptist Hospital.
