Jo Anne Lewis of Muldrow (formerly of Heavener) was born May 10, 1936 in Heavener to Leon and Mabel (Morris) Williamson and passed away Jan. 23, 2024 in Sallisaw at the age of 87.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Jo Anne was a long-time resident of the Heavener area. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her family loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
Surviving family members are one daughter Kelley Whitley and husband Stephen of Houston, Texas; three sons Kevin Lewis and wife Jo Anne of Muldrow, Stanley Davis and wife Becky of Charleston, South Carolina, and Richard “Nick” Lewis and wife Whitney Marlett of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous other loved ones and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Lewis; brothers Harry and Stanley Williamson; and her sisters Helen DuBord, Billie Long, Dorothy Rumley and Betty Williamson.
