Winter warnings continue Monday

A wind chill advisory is now in effect until noon Tuesday with a winter weather advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Monday.

After a round of snow hit the area Sunday, additional snow accumulations up to one inch are expected, along with very cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero.

The warning is for east central, northeast and southeast Oklahoma, along with northwest and west central Arkansas.

Plan on slippery road conditions if and where a snow band sets up this morning, which could impact the morning commute. Frost bite and hypothermia are possible if precautions are not taken to protect yourself from the cold.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
